New Dresses for Easter

I have two cute little girls (also a cute boy) and I wanted them to have matching dresses. I couldn't find any I liked so I made some. Wesley had a green shirt and vest so I made green dresses. Sunday was a busy day, Todd had a meeting in the morning he came home and I immediately left because I also had a meeting, I was going to do their hair the same way with a bow but time was not my friend.

Maddie wouldn't be Maddie unless she posed for a picture.

Egg Hunt

Saturday was the city Easter Egg hunt. We have gone every year we have been here. Even though there is a lot of children, there were plenty of eggs to go around. They had bouncing houses and tunnels to crawl through.

Wesley getting ready for the hunt.

Maddie went from one cluster of eggs to the other picking up one egg at a time. They had the egg hunt broken up by ages. Wesley went in one area and Maddie to another. So Todd and I had to split up, I had Maddie so I have a lot of pictures of her and Todd took a lot of pictures of Wesley on his phone.

Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss

I know this is late but it has been a busy month so I'm posting a lot in a row. We celebrated Dr. Seuss's birthday with a dinner of green eggs and ham, cupcakes, and new books for Wesley and Maddie.

When Maddie and Wesley came home this is what they saw. Maddie said, "What the?" Even though the eggs were green they ate them all. But the cupcakes were their favorite part.

Even though this has nothing to do with Dr. Seuss I thought it was cute. They were playing caterpillars and butterflies. They would pretend they were in a crystallise and come out slowly singing a song from the nutcracker. It was really cute. I was surprised they knew the song and was pretty proud but then I asked where they learned it and they said, "Maddie's barbie movie."

Caution!!! People with weak stomachs should not scroll down!

Poor Maddie :( She was helping Todd unload wood from his car, Todd bumped into his air compressor and it fell on Maddie's toe. She handled it well after a few minutes of screaming she calmed down. I don't know how she walks on it, I think I would still be screaming. She went to school the next day and told everyone about it.

Daddy Daughter Date

Last night we had the Daddy Daughter Date night at the church. We had a lot of "cute couples" there. We started out with a taco bar. Kim taught them how to make paper flowers, so the girls made them for there Dad and the dad's made them for their daughters.

After that we had a sister in the ward teach the couples how to make pinatas. It was messing but everyone had fun. To end the evening we had them break open a pinata and grab all the candy. It was a lot of fun.
